The Best Italian Chaise Lounges at Malpensa Airport

Modern Italian chaise lounge chairs can add visual interest and function as focal points in any room, serving as additional seating options when added alongside sofas or sectionals.

As lounge has the same spelling as chaise longue in French, it seems logical that it would become its new name for this long sofa.

Malpensa Airport VIP Lounges

Malpensa Airport boasts several airlines operating out of it and several VIP lounges for passengers to use. Booking your access ticket online is the ideal way to do it; alternatively you may purchase access via automatic machines in terminals or security gates. Once booked online you will receive an e-ticket that must be kept as it will allow entry to the lounge.

This lounge serves as the contract lounge for Terminal 1, serving many airlines (excluding Emirates who has their own lounge). Offering great food and drink selections, it provides ample opportunity for relaxing before your flight.

The lounge was spacious and clean, offering comfortable seating with an excellent selection of food and drink, magazines, TV entertainment and quick wifi connection – only downside being pricey for non Priority Pass members.

At Terminal 1’s second-floor boarding area, this lounge is open daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm for Priority Pass members as well as passengers traveling business class or first class and Admirals Club membership holders. Families travelling with young children will particularly appreciate its dedicated family room complete with comfortable chairs, cushions, an LED touchscreen TV and showers available for an additional 16 euro fee.

Food at this premium lounge was less than impressive, particularly given the price point. There was a selection of cold foods, but none that made me want to return solely for their delicious offerings. Drink selection was improved upon from other airport lounges I visited; nevertheless, prices are fair with several choices available at reasonable rates.
